Javier has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Carlos III University of Madrid and since 2009 Javier has been dedicated to financial consulting (banking and insurance), focused on optimizing risk and marketing strategies throughout the entire credit cycle (acquisition, portfolio management, recoveries and portfolio sales).

After a first stage as a consultant at Price Waterhouse Coopers, he joined TDX Indigo in 2012, leading the consumer finance projects for the main financial entities in Peru, Argentina, Panama and Spain. As a specialist in “Infomation Based Strategy”, he has developed projects with a “Test” – “Learn” – “Adapt” methodology focused on decision-making based on profitability / risk models.

In 2015 he founded his own independent advisory firm, where in addition to financial consulting he has specialized in analyzing distressed investment opportunities in various markets.

He is currently the Partner in charge of the Investments line at Goriz Advisors, in addition to co-leading the consulting area.
